I am really a "techie" at heart, with a burning passion for root cause analysis. My blog wanders on and off the subject of problem management. One day when I grow up, I will be a service management evangelist. My 6-year-old son Rayner describes this blog best: It's Daddy's thoughts!

From Redipedia, a pineapple is an analogy for a problem as it is sticky and thorny. Join the Pineapple Society for Root Cause Analysis on LinkedIn here.

Boo, Hiss :)
"Secure" doesn't matter. Risk does.
So, would it be better if the questions was: it is easier to mitigate virus/tojan risks with an Apple MAC than a PC?
That would be one useful question to be used as prior information.
Others Might Be:
What is the expected frequency of malware attacks (successful, non-successful) for each platform?
What level of skills / resources would an attacker have to have (framed in the context of a Gaussian distribution that represents the population of "attackers") to overcome the average OS configuration?
What is the quality of the code used?
etc...
etc...
I wonder if the ordinary bloke really understands?
